  Join us for an evening of Tai Chi beside the American River as the full moon rises. We will meet at Glen Hall Park in East Sacramento and walk together to a quiet spot on the river. Full details available at time of registration. Please register directly with Tara at least 48 hours in advance

Practiced by millions of people each morning in the parks of China, more and more people in the west are discovering “the magic of chi ”. Learn exercises based on time tested yoga principles that
  can be modified for anyone to practice.  You'll stretch your 
  major muscles, loosen joints and learn breathing exercises
  for reducing discomfort and pain. Many of the exercises will be
  done sitting in a chair.

INTRODUCTION TO CHAIR YOGA


 In this class you will learn how to use Yoga and Tai Chi to improve flexibility, coordination, balance and reduce stress. These times tested practices are a gentle form of excercise and movemnet that anyone can experience the benefits of regardless age or health condition.

  SoulCollage® is a creative and satisfying collage process.
You make your own deck of cards - each collage card
representing one aspect of your personality or Soul. Use the collage cards intuitively to answer life's questions and participate in self-discovery. $30 in advance or $35 on the day of the workshop. All welcome.

SOULCOLLAGE


  Learn a variety of techniques - therapeutic movement, stretches, posture awareness, acupressure and massage for releasing tension in the neck and shoulders. This class will also include instruction on breathing techniques to enhance the effectiveness of these practices. ($15 or $10 for Co-op onwers)
